Gender is a fluid spectrum. Gender and sex are not the same thing. Sex is biological, your chromosomes and anatomy. Gender is mental, it's how you identify yourself.

Cisgender: A person who's gender identity is the same as their birth sex.

There are several gender neutral pronouns, the most common is They/Them/Their. There is also a shortened version of Ey/Em/Eir.
Some people use Hir pronouns, Ze/Zem/Zher or Xe/Xem/Xher which is pronounced the same.
If a person uses gender neutral pronouns they may request you use a gender neutral honorific (Mr. Mrs. Ms.) the most common is Mx.
